Our Environmental Policy

We don’t just pay lip service to key environmental and sustainability issues – they form the basis of how we work.

We specialise in creating functional and aesthetic spaces whilst minimising the negative environmental impacts arising from the materials used within the garden. We are always happy to suggest ways in which a garden can become ‘greener’.

Ask us about:

  • Creating a green roof on an existing roof or shed
  • Garden design using Permaculture principles
  • Harvesting, storing and re-using rainwater or greywater, creating ‘rain gardens’
  • Permeable paving and the new laws regarding paving your front garden
  • Flood water management and drainage
  • Re-using existing materials in your garden
  • Composting
  • Vegetable growing and food self-sufficiency
  • Maximising biodiversity in your garden
  • Sustainable sourcing of hard materials – FSC timber, ethically quarried stone
  • Solar or low voltage lighting
