A once-concreted small front garden, this space now provides a luxury home for the wheely-bin. The Australian owner was keen to have a fencing style which is common in her home country, and to use scented flowers.
Plant colours were limited to whites, creams and yellows and include: Lavandula angustifolia ‘Nana alba’, Echinacea purpurea ‘White Swan’, Choisya ternata ‘Aztec Pearl’, Viburnum x burkwoodii, Trachelospermum jasminoides and Leucanthemella serotina.
The mulch around the plants is recycled crushed brick, providing a colour which will link to the rest of the street and make a perfect backdrop to show off the planting. The garden has received many admiring comments from the rest of the street.
